Club Registration Fees


Club fees are paid directly through the Fairfax VA UNION registration system and cover the following:

  • ECNL membership and league fees
  • ECNL National Event Fees
  • Coaching compensation
  • Referee & Referee Assignor fees
  • U.S. Club Soccer fees including 1 player pass + insurance
  • Rick Management background check fees for staff and chaperones
  • Field maintenance costs
  • Administration costs, including staff compensation and operational costs
  • Coaching education and licensure
  • Staff gear and equipment
  • Athletic trainers
  • Performance trainers
  • Facility/Field use fees
  • Collegiate Track Support
  • Video & Analytics 

Team Fees


  • Entry fees for 2 non-ECNL tournaments
  • Team Scrimmage Referee Fees
  • Team Equipment
  • Coaches travel cost 
  • Away fixture travel costs
  • *Additional Tournaments: If a team attends an additional tournament, a separate registration will be created for that specific team


Uniform Fees


*Uniform fees will be paid directly to the uniform supplier, not Fairfax VA Union

  • Each Fairfax VA UNION player is required to have a basic uniform kit
  • Players must have the current uniform to be eligible to play

Initial Deposit

$500 due at time of acceptance (Non-refundable)

Installment 1 - July 15

(Annual fee) minus $500.00 divided by 3

Installment 2 - September 15

(Annual fee) minus $500.00 divided by 3

Installment 3 - November 15

(Annual fee) minus $500.00 divided by 3

  • Players Added AFTER Initial ID/Tryout Sessions and before October 1st:

    Players that join the Fairfax VA UNION after the Initial ID/Tryout Sessions and before October 1st will be subject to the FULL Seasonal Year Club Fees. Installment due dates will be adjusted.

  • Players Added ON OR AFTER October 1st:

    Players who join the Fairfax VA UNION on or after October 1st and before March 1st will receive a prorated discount of 25% of the seasonal year fees. Installment due dates may be adjusted.

  • Players Added ON OR AFTER March 1st:

    Players who join the Fairfax VA Union on or after March 1st will receive a prorated discount of 50% of the seasonal year fees. Installment due dates may be adjusted.

  • Refunds

    Travel soccer is a full-year commitment, and refunds will not be given for players who choose to leave mid-season or mid-year.

  • Non-Payment

    It is the responsibility of the player’s family to ensure forms of payment in their Playmetrics account are viable and up to date.  The family is responsible for reporting and updating lost, stolen, expired, or otherwise denied credit cards. Failure of Fairfax VA Union to communicate an outstanding balance does not absolve the member of non-payment of fees.


    Any player whose family is more than 30 days behind in payment of Club or Team fees may be suspended from play – including all practices, games, tournaments, and events.  Any player whose family is not current on payments at the time of the next seasonal year’s ID/Tryout Sessions, will be ineligible to participate,and will not be eligible for financial assistance.


    The player is eligible to return once all outstanding payments have been made.
